With Bosque County Judge Cindy Vanlandingham and Bosque County Commissioner Ronnie Liardon on hand to symbolically hand over the keys to the old county jail site to Meridian Mayor Ryan Nieuwenhuis, the Meridian Parks & Recreation will hold the CHISHOLM TRAIL PLAZA GRAND OPENING at 7 p.m. March 26.

Following the ceremony, the Meridian Parks & Rec will introduce 2022’s BOSQUE BOOT SCOOTIN’ Outdoor Dance Series, featuring CHAD & THE CHISELERS beginning at 7:30 p.m. The band will consist of Jeff Harris on drums, Marty Filandro on bass, Dale Barron playing fiddle & mandolin, Miriam Wallace on keyboard and vocals, Kevin Chambliss on guitar, and Chad Holt on guitar & vocals.
